PLATFORM · AGENTS
Reading, categorising and answering are each done by a different agent. Rules check their work, and only a person accepts it.
01 · THE READING AGENT
Statement in, ledger rows out.
Upload a bank statement as a CSV or PDF. The agent writes each line into the ledger, reuses the payees the client already has, and skips any row it has seen before.
Upload the statement the way the bank issues it.
A Staples line lands on the existing Staples payee.
Overlapping statements don’t double up.
02 · THE CATEGORISING AGENT
Every line gets a proposal.
Each proposal comes with a confidence and a reason in one plain sentence. Anything under 85% is marked for a person to check, and nothing posts until a reviewer says yes.

03 · IN THE LEDGER
Where the proposals land.
Categorised, needs review, flagged or reconciled: each line is marked for what it needs. Ask a question in plain English and the answer cites the rows behind it.

04 · EVERY PROPOSAL
Enough to judge it at a glance.
A category on its own would be a guess. With a confidence and a reason beside it, a reviewer can agree in a second, or change it knowing why it was proposed.
THE REASON
Every proposal says why in plain words: the payee it matched, the usual amount, whether it found a duplicate.
WHERE A PERSON DECIDES
Those lines are marked for checking. Either way, nothing posts until a reviewer says yes.
THE CORRECTION
Change a category and the correction becomes the rule for that payee. The agent never overwrites it.
05 · WHAT THEY NEVER DO
Limits the agents work within.
The agents read and propose. Posting stays with a person.
A proposal at 99% and one at 40% wait the same way, until a reviewer says yes.
When a reviewer changes a category, that change becomes the rule for the payee, and the agent follows it from then on.
Every proposal carries its reason, and every change is recorded against the person, rule or agent that made it. Nothing is deleted.
