A balance this month on an account that had none before.
PLATFORM · PLANNING
The client’s trial balance becomes the chart of accounts and the plan for the month, and the partner’s judgement sets the order of work.
01 · THE PLAN
The Scoping screen, in the app.
Each line of the client’s trial balance becomes a category the ledger is filed into. LZR scores every category against the ledger, and the partner’s priorities set the order the team works in.

02 · EARLIER MONTHS
Checked against the months before.
Every category is checked against the client’s earlier trial balances. A surprise isn’t an error. It’s a reason to look.
A balance this month on an account that had none before.
A regular account with nothing on it this month.
A debit balance that turns up as a credit, or the other way round.
A balance well outside where it has sat before.
03 · PRIORITIES
The partner’s call, not the queue’s.
The partner sets a priority on each category. Actions, the Ledger and Documents then follow that order, so the team starts where the partner thinks the risk sits.
In trial balance order
In the order of work
Revenue: Products showed no anomaly. The partner raised it to High anyway, so the team starts there.
04 · AROUND THE BOOKS
The client, your tools, the Act.
Ask a client for a missing invoice, work with books kept in Tally or Zoho, and trace each rule to its section of the Act.
When a transaction needs an invoice, the portal asks the client for it directly.
Sync with Tally and Zoho, for practices whose clients keep their books there.
Each rule names the section of the Act it enforces, so a reviewer can check it at the source.
